Blogging at work has legal implications

Employers need to be aware of the legal implications surrounding blogs, an employment law firm has warned.

Companies can run into problems if they are unaware of the legal position of posting online, according to Glovers solicitors.

Sikin Andela, employment lawyer and partner at Glovers, said employers need to have a clear policy on blogging, while bloggers should exercise caution when posting comments online, and in particular, those which relate to their employer and the nature of their employment.
