Law firm Dundas & Wilson has acted on a secondary fundraising by HR consultancy Savile Group on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
This week, Savile Group issued new shares raising a total of £1.8m. The funding will be used for strategic acquisitions and continuing investment in the group’s existing businesses, Cedar Talent Management, career transition company Fairplace, and IDDAS, which supports senior business leaders in their career progression.
Dundas & Wilson acted as advisers to Savile Group’s broker FinnCap who placed the shares.
Nadim Meer, a partner in D&W’s London-based corporate team, says: “FinnCap’s fundraising for Savile to support acquisitions is an indication of further consolidation in the HR sector.
”We’ve already seen examples of this, such as the Kinsey Allen deal, and I suspect that there is more to come.”
