IT recruiter DP Connect has appointed Aidan Anglin to the board. Anglin, who joined DP Connect as an executive director in July, will be responsible for helping managing director Toni Cocozza to drive sales and to run the business.

Anglin brings 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry.

Having had the benefit of Aidan as a non-executive director, we were excited about the prospect of enticing him to join us in a more hands-on role. Aidan has managed some of the largest and most progressive organisations in our sector, and his experience will allow us to mature as a business far more quickly than we would have been able to otherwise

Toni Cocozza

Among his previous roles were chief executive EMEA at FiveTen Group, and managing director at Adecco Technology.

Anglin said: “Since I joined DP Connect as an executive director three months ago, we have increased revenue by 14%. In a large company you wouldn’t be able to have the same impact in that period. One of the things about an SME is that you are not pigeon-holed so you can get involved in all aspects of building and running the business.”
