New diversity site is launched

DiversityJobsite.co.uk, a new equality and diversity website has been launched.

The site offers employers and recruiters access to over 60,000 candidates and is part of the stable of websites including Ethnic Jobsite, Asian Jobsite, Disability Jobsite and Disability Network.

The site has been set up to address the Race Equality Scheme (RES) legislation that covers 45,000 public bodies across the country, including government, schools, health trusts and emergency services.

Jamila Bibi, managing director of DiversityJobsite.co.uk, said, “To be successful in today’s marketplace, companies need to attract a diverse range of candidates from across the UK’s workforce. This is particularly true for public sector organisations, as it will soon become mandatory for public sector employers to demonstrate that they are actively working towards a diverse workforce.”
