BT holds diversity conference

BT is to host the Diversity Works Conference. The event is intended to examine the dearth of disabled leaders in the workplace.

It will take place at BT’s head office in St Paul’s, London on Wednesday 11 June 2008 and is being held to coincide with Scope’s Time to Get Equal Week, Monday 9 to Sunday 15 June.


Speakers include: Anne McGuire, parliamentary under secretary of state for disabled people – ‘What the government is doing to promote opportunities for disabled leaders’

Caroline Waters, director of people and policy at BT – ‘The business case for disabled leaders’

Jon Sparkes, chief executive at Scope – ‘What disabled leaders are already achieving and the challenges ahead’
