Darby is new MD of RK Supply Chain
The Kellan Group has appointed Mark Darby as managing director of its RK Supply Chain company. He will retain the position of MD of Berkeley Scott in addition to the new role.
Darby told Recruiter that while the supply chain recruiter was well known in the market, and had strong relationships with a number of clients, it had “not been pulling its weight”.
The company that currently employs around eight staff is now on a sound financial footing, says Darby, who aims to grow the business by five or six consultants over the next six to nine months. He will be looking for experienced staff and potentially graduates.
I am now looking to grow the business quickly by employing similarly talented individuals. We have a great proposition here, one which values and rewards talent in an entrepreneurial environment which any good consultant would find difficult to reject
Darby says the plan is to grow in London first, before expanding into the rest of the UK and then Europe.
Ross Eades, chief executive of Kellan Group, says: “Mark is a hugely talented leader. His results with Berkeley Scott have been impressive and I have faith that he’ll grow RK Supply Chain in a similar way to become the undisputed market leader.”
