Recruitment and outsourcing firm Staffline Group has acquired driving and logistics recruiter Go New Recruitment.

Go New has eight sites across Central and South-West England with clients in a number of sectors. This is an area Staffline’s chief executive Andy Hogarth told Recruiter was a priority for expanding operations when the company announced its results earlier this month.

According to a company statement, “the acquisition is in line with Staffline's existing business strategy of targeting selective bolt-on acquisitions operating in relevant fields to both expand their customer base and broaden their revenue mix”.

It is also the second acquisition in the driving business in as many months, following a deal for DKM Driving in early August.
