London professional staffing services firm Connections Recruitment has been purchased by US recruiter Yoh.

Connections will serve as the HQ for Yoh’s UK and European operations, and continue to be led by managing director Alex Mauree and director of client relationships Philip Mead, who will oversee the integration of over 200 Connections clients into the new operation.Yoh president Lori Schultz comments: “Its [Connections’] deep reach in the European talent pool, particularly in the IT and engineering sectors, combined with Yoh’s suite of workforce solutions, will be extremely valuable to existing Yoh clients seeking to better manage the temporary segment of their global workforce.”

Mauree adds: “We have had opportunities to partner with larger international players in the past, but it has been a deeply-held value of Connections that we would consider acquisition only if it effectively improved the level of service to our clients.”
