Recruitment giant Manpower has agreed a two-year contract to deliver global permanent recruitment services to help mining and mineral resources firm Rio Tinto achieve its growth targets.

Recruitment giant Manpower has agreed a two-year contract to deliver global permanent recruitment services to help mining and mineral resources firm Rio Tinto achieve its growth targets.

Building on Manpower’s existing partnership with Rio Tinto in Australia, the firm will be one of only two exclusive providers of permanent talent to Rio Tinto, recruiting approximately 11,000 permanent employees every year in skills sets ranging from management to machine operators.

Darryl Green, president of Asia-Pacific and Middle East, says: “With a highly mobile, global workforce, a co-ordinated, cross-border recruitment solution is integral to Rio Tinto’s success.

“Our ability to respond to fluctuating demands for labour across Rio Tinto’s multiple global projects allows us to deliver customised solutions to keep them ahead of their competition.”
