Contracts: Harvey Nash agrees Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland deal

International recruiter Harvey Nash has won a multi-yearcontract worth €43m (£37.4m) with Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland.

International recruiter Harvey Nash has won a multi-yearcontract worth €43m (£37.4m) with Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland.

Harvey Nash will provide line delivery and technology engineering services in the field of fixed telecommunications for several Alcatel Lucent products.

A new Harvey Nash development centre will be set up in Stuttgart, Germany, while services will be delivered through an alliance with Wipro and Nash Technologies, a Harvey Nash subsidiary, based on a Framework Agreement.

Albert Ellis, chief executive of Harvey Nash, says: “This new agreement further strengthens our strategic outsourcing division, extending our portfolio of services in wireless and fixed line telecommunications, complementing our substantial expertise in software maintenance, application development and end-to- end project delivery. This new project represents another important milestone in our long term partnership with Alcatel-Lucent.”
