Recruitment giant Adecco has agreed a joint venture (JV) with Chinese HR service company FESCO.

The move sees FESCO Adecco provide clients with general staffing, professional staffing and outsourcing services. This includes the management of payroll and benefits administration, with scope to enhance its offering, benefiting from Adecco’s multinational expertise in the HR services industry.

The JV, which sees FESCO and Adecco hold 51% and 49% of the equity respectively, has more than 100,000 associates on assignment and access to a network of more than 100 branches across China.

Adecco says the JV is the first co-operation between the two companies and lays a solid foundation for further co-operation.
