Construction and commercial recruiter Taurus Recruitment has gone into administration, transferring clients and staff to its sister company, Sagittarius Recruitment, Recruiter has learnt.

Gareth McDonald, branch manager of Sagittarius Recruitment’s Manchester office, told Recruiter Taurus Recruitment’s clients had been signed over to Sagittarius and that the staff and asset base remained intact.

“We have signed our clients over to Sagittarius, one of our sister companies and we have let our bad debt go,” says McDonald.

According to Business Sale Report, which monitors companies going into administration, Taurus Recruitment had an annual turnover of £8.6m in the last figures it reported to Companies House.
