Oil & gas engineering firm Offshore Group Newcastle (OGN) is seeking manufacturing project management and design professionals to fill 1,000 new roles. OGN has been selected by US-based Apache Corporation to construct a new oil production platform in a deal worth £150m, while the firm says 1,000 jobs will be created over 20 months at OGN Group’s Hadrian Yard site in Newcastle as part of this development in the North Sea.
