Employers are still holding Christmas parties for staff, according to hospitality recruiters.

Ellie Walsh, director at ESP Recruitment, told Recruiter: “Christmas parties are still going on. Budgets are being cut. People are not going crazy but things are still going ahead.”

Mark Darby, managing director at Berkeley Scott, adds: “The build up was much slower. However, there was a lot of last minute work. There was an upsurge in terms of our temp activity. A lot of people are having parties to boost morale.”
