Less than half of women in IT confident about career
Less than half of women working in IT are confident over future career success, according to a new survey.

Findings, from attendees of job board womenintechnology.co.uk’s How to Get Ahead in IT event, showed that 41% of women working in IT do not feel confident about the future success of their careers.

The research also showed that 65% did not have a clear vision of their IT career goals.

Maggie Berry, director of womenintechnology.co.uk, said: “The majority of the women believed they were the driver of their own success, with many updating their CV regularly on LinkedIn and speaking with management so that others are aware of their achievements. However, many cited difficulties in marketing themselves in this way”
