Candidates sell themselves short on their CVs

‘Achievement amnesia’ is causing three-quarters of employers to reject applicants, according to a new report.

The report, from online CV provider iProfile, found that applicants are failing to sell themselves because they cannot remember achievements further back than six months ago.

A quarter of employers said that candidates who could sell themselves correctly could see a 15% increase in salary.
