BP’s new contract with Kelly will help ‘simplify and standardise’ its recruitment processes, according to the energy firm.
Last week, BP agreed a deal with international recruiter KellyOCG, the outsourcing and consulting group of Kelly Services, which takes effect as of the first quarter 2010, to manage temporary labour, including independent contractor service and select consulting categories as well as supporting BP’s agenda to simplify its recruitment processes.
A spokesperson told Recruiter: “This deal will simplify and standardise - through a single agency - the way we recruit temporary staff around the world to match variable business needs. For instance, when managing the needs of multiple project teams during overlapping programmes, the demand for specific engineering or other technical roles fluctuates. The contract covers a wide range of roles from admin staff to energy industry specialists.”
