Recruitment-to-recruitment specialist Bowden Mayes is devoting an area of its new website to free training material for recruiters, which includes video.

So far it has partnered with Recruitment Juice and LinkedIn training provider ETN Training.

Director Kevin Mayes told Recruiter that the aim is to constantly provide new resources and information, whether it’s a 10-15 minute video course or a prequel to some training that directs a recruiter to the provider’s site.

“We want to make it clear though there’s no pass-on fee for us,” he said. “We’re doing it because we think training is key for recruiters and we are always keen to see practices [in the sector] improve.

“Often a recruiter may develop their skills over an initial six-to-12 month period then once the results start to come in, continue to recruit in the same way throughout their career. The really successful recruiters, however, continually seek to improve and hone their skills believing that more training means better results; this is what we want to help the industry achieve.”
