Healthcare Locums (HCL) has suspended executive vice chairman, Kate Bleasdale (above), and chief financial officer, Diane Jarvis pending the outcome of an investigation. The announcement follows a statement by the healthcare staffing specialist’s board that it has been made aware of “serious accounting irregularities” and that it will be carrying out an immediate investigation. Kate Bleasdale said she was “surprised and disappointed” at the board of HCL’s decision to suspend her as executive vice chairman as the healthcare recruiter carried out an investigation into ’serious accounting irregularities’. Bleasdale said she looks forward to being reinstated.
