Bioscience NEDs has launched.

The firm aims to help life science businesses find non-executive directors (NEDs) and non-executive chairmen (NECs) who have a track record of supporting, growing and turning companies around  in tough market conditions.

Jeff Solomon has been appointed as business advisor.

Managing director Carolyn Douthwaite says: “The inspiration for the business followed extensive market research.

“We discovered there was a gap in the market for a business which both understands the life sciences sector and has access to a talent pool of professionals who can make a difference and bring balance to boards in challenging times. Setting up Bioscience NEDs to match emerging businesses with experienced professionals seemed like a natural step.”
