AXA: Increased competition for top talent ahead for UK insurers

There will be increased competition for top performers in the UK’s insurance sector, according to Samantha Rich, head of group attraction & talent - Human Resources AXA UK.

Rich told Recruiter: “I believe 2010 will continue to see the industry balancing restructuring activity, mergers and acquisitions and business partnerships with increasing competition for the best employees to gain competitive advantage as the economy recovers. I think it is unlikely that 2010 will see significant growth in the levels of external recruitment. However, all indications are that growth is back on the agenda.”
