Average salaries for renewable energy jobs are on the increase, according to figures from green recruiter Acre Resources.

Figures revealed to Recruitershow that average salaries in October stood at £43,700, up from £37,000 in October 2008.

Ben Cartland, associate at Acre, told Recruiter: “We have seen an increase in the level of salaries for renewable energy experts and there are more jobs available. There is more legislation in terms of renewable energy targets and this is starting to translate into jobs.”
