Professional services firm PwC has appointed Neil Roden as a partner in its HR consulting practice.  

Roden was previously group HR director at Royal Bank of Scotland.

Michael Rendell, head of HR services at PwC, says: “Neil brings a wealth of expertise to our HR business, particularly in HR issues for the financial services sector. He has worked for National Australia Bank and spent the last 10 years leading HR at RBS, where his experience included M&A integrations, downsizing,  joint ventures and of course the recent crisis.  I’m pleased to welcome him to our ever-expanding business. In addition to a wide ranging role advising clients on all aspects of HR, Neil will be focusing on the role of the HR function, how to optimise its activity and the critical impact of people on business performance.”
