Appointments: Richard Wright joins Archer Mathieson

Former chief executive of specialist finance recruitment consultancy Martin Ward Anderson (MWA), Richard Wright, has been appointed CEO at Archer Mathieson, replacing founder John Archer who recently left the business to pursue other interests.

Wright also joins the main board of The Cornhill Partnership which comprises Archer Mathieson, Correlate Search, Euromedica and BIE Interim Executive.

MWA was acquired by international recruiter Randstad in late 2005, while Wright remained as CEO until the end of 2009.

Cornhill CEO, Robert Walker, says: “This is a significant coup for us. Richard’s record clearly speaks for itself. The fact that he has chosen to join us also says something about his belief in the strength of Archer Mathieson’s brand and the company’s potential for growth, plus the parent group’s ambition.”
