The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Gillian Econopouly as head of policy.

Econopouly, previously the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s head of policy, will be leading the REC’s lobbying and campaigning work.

The move follows former head of policy Anne Fairweather’s departure from the REC last year to take up a new position at the British Bankers Association.
