IT staffing specialist InterQuest Group has appointed Mark Braund as chief executive.

IT staffing specialist InterQuest Group has appointed Mark Braund as chief executive.

From mid April, current joint CEO and executive chairman, Gary Ashworth, becomes executive chairman, focusing on the acquisitive growth strategy of the business.

Braund joins InterQuest from his executive vice president (North America) role of First Advantage, a $228m (£142m) revenue global employer services organisation providing recruitment services and screening solutions.

Braund says: “I am delighted to be joining Gary and the team at InterQuest. The business has a great foundation with its niche orientation and iQad training programme and I believe has an exciting future.”
