Appointments: Larson gets Bowden, Stewart, McMaw, Withy, Whiteley

Engineering, utilities, medical and logistics recruiter Larson Group has made a number of appointments.

The firm launched earlier this year a scheme offering higher than average commission to experienced recruiters or those with senior experience in the firm’s target markets.

Helen Bowden joins as a senior consultant in the HR division, having previously worked as HR manager at Northern Foods, and with Deloitte.

Jonny Stewart joins the firm’s healthcare division, focusing on senior level commercial and sales appointments, having previously worked at executive recruiter Goodall Brazier.

Kevin McMaw joins Larson’s oil and gas team, having previously worked for BP and Castrol. He will specialise in distributor management.

Louise Withy joins as an executive headhunter in the professional services sector and is the former head of marketing at friendly society Engage Mutual having previously worked at Skipton Building Society.

Ruth Whiteley was previously a management consultant and joins Larson to recruit for senior roles within the finance industry.

Larson’s managing director Martin Pollard says: “The mix [of industry and recruitment appointments] is working well and we hope to announce three more senior appointments in the New Year and double the workforce over the next two years.”
