International recruiter Hudson has appointed Paul Jacobs as UK, Ireland and Middle East chief talent officer.

The former Adecco and Office Angels senior operating executive is charged with staff recruitment, engagement and development and is also responsible for the firm’s talent management business.

Jacobs was most recently owner and managing director of LoveWorkLife, which provides strategic advice coaching and mentoring to recruitment businesses.
