The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas) has appointed Vikki Hawes to its council.

Hawes held a number of senior HR roles at Royal Mail through the period 2000-10, and is currently director of HR solutions and interim management consultancy Aldridge Consulting.
