International healthcare provider Bupa has appointed Denise Collis as its new group HR director.

From June, Collis will lead Bupa’s global HR function and work closely with Bupa’s businesses around the world to deliver the group’s strategic agenda and will report to chief executive Ray King. She replaces Bob Watson, who is retiring from Bupa after 15 years as group HR director.

Collis joins Bupa having run her own business over the past 12 months specialising in people strategy and leadership development. She was previously group HR director at 3i Group and has held senior HR roles at Arthur Andersen, Midland Bank, HSBC James Capel and Standard Chartered Bank and Ernst & Young.
