Appointments: David Winterburn re-elected President of ECSSA

Former Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) chair David Winterburn has been re-elected president of European search and selection organisation ECSSA.

Former Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) chair David Winterburn has been re-elected president of European search and selection organisation ECSSA.

ECSSA (European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations) represents roughly 600 search and selection consultancies across France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg and the UK.

Winterburn, managing director of Leeds-based headhunting firm, Harrison Winterburn Associates, was elected ECSSA’s president in 2008 having previously served as its non-executive director and UK ambassador.

He is supported by newly appointed deputy president, Etienne Deroure from France, and general secretary, Jorg Murmann from Germany, also re-elected for a second term.
