Public sector recruiter The Capita Group has appointed Vic Gysin and Andy Parker as joint chief operating officers.

Gysin and Parker join the group’s board with immediate effect.

Gysin joined Capita in 2002 and is currently the divisional director for Capita’s insurance and investor services division, while Parker joined the group in 2001 and is currently the divisional director for Capita’s ICT, health and business services division.

Meanwhile, current chief operating officer Simon Pilling has stepped down from the board and is leaving the group.
