Just under a quarter (22.8%) of UK workers are unhappy in their current job, according to research from recruitment consultant Badenoch & Clark.

The research also shows 27% would not recommend their employer (27%), while further fifth (21.9%) stated that the dominant reason they went to work was due to routine. One in ten (10.3%) were motivated to work by spiralling debt.
