Neutral vendor and workforce management company the Albany Group has apologised for any inconvenience or financial hardship to staffing companies and contractors after admitting that a £3m factoring facility for three of its UK companies has been withdrawn. And following the suspension of its bank funding (see Recruiter.co.uk, 20 January), the company announced, in a statement sent to Recruiter, that it is going through a restructuring and refinancing process “in order that Albany may satisfy its creditors, continue to service debts and provide longevity”.
