Global outsourcing services provider Aegis, part of the Essar Group, is to create 600 new jobs in Manchester.

The roles will be at a new customer service centre, expected to open later this year.

Aegis adds it is planning further significant expansion across various countries in Continental Europe, where a number of additional customer service centres will be opened during the next two years.
