International recruiter Advantage Technical Resourcing wants to add “volume” to its business, following its acquisition of Atlan Resource Solutions, according to managing director Simon Trippick.

The acquisition includes all of the UK recruiter’s offices in Winchester, London and Sale, including a managed hosting and data centre operations.

Trippick told Recruiter: “We have all the necessary relationships and approvals in place and now we want to add volume.”

Two of Atlan’s senior managers have taken up new roles.

Senior manager in the energy sector Hans Dixon becomes commercial director, while director Grant Whelan becomes general manager. Both men report to Trippick.

“Like most recruitment companies, we feel the market is going through a period of consolidation, but coming out of the recession, there will be opportunities to further develop our business in the IT sector.”

Advantage Technical Resourcing already has UK offices in Basingstoke, London and in Scotland.
