Adecco €34m fine upheld

The Paris Court of Appeal has upheld a decision to fine recruitment giant Adecco €34m (£29.8m) over an anti-trust case involving the firm, Adia France and their main competitors in France.

The fine, originally imposed by French Competition Council in February of last year, will not be appealed by Adecco, it said in a statement.

Adecco adds that, as of 31 December 2008, it has already recorded a provision for the total amount of the fine.
