The construction of a new business park near Aberdeen Airport could create up to 2,000 new jobs.

The BBC reports that the £100m 54-acre construction at Dyce by developer Ribnort, aimed at businesses connected with the oil industry, will be ready for occupation from next summer.

A Ribnort spokesperson told Recruiter: “They would be 2,000 permanent jobs.

The site will be used for offices and airport-related uses and industrial. We see the occupiers as being oil related being so close to the airport. It would be absolutely perfect for people coming in to business in Aberdeen.”
