Contact centre and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm Stellar is set to hire around 200 people for a new call centre for the Australian Taxation Office in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Stellar confirms in a statement on its website that it will manager the new centre, with the local government reporting the 200 jobs figure.The contract should be worth around AUS$68m (£43.5m) over five years with services beginning this January.

The council is to hold four career information sessions are to be held in three locations across the local area on 8-10 October.

NHS Trust plans to cut jobs and agency staff

The BBC reports today [30 April 2025] that the North-West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is planning job cuts, as well as cutting its expenditure on bank and agency staff.
