Technical recruiter Morson is continuing to experience “challenging” trading conditions, according to chairman Gerry Mason.

Ahead of the group’s AGM today, Mason said: “Trading in our core UK markets in 2011 continues to be challenging as indicated in our statements earlier in the year. The group’s prospects and trading are in line with directors’ expectations. We remain well positioned to gain marketshare when improving economic conditions occur.

“The acquisition of the remaining issued capital of our joint venture subsidiary, Morson Wynnwith, earlier this year has proceeded to plan and this business has been fully integrated within the group.”
