Financial services recruiter BrightPool has launched BrightPool Connect, a management system allowing clients to track the performance of contractors they hire.

The tool includes goal setting, performance reporting and timesheet management features, as well as a forum for stakeholders to discuss work. It is accessible through smartphones and tablet computers.

By providing clients with management information on their contractors, BrightPool says contractors will be scrutinised with the same rigour as permanent staff, with managing director Angela Hickmore calling the fact that this does not commonly happen “a real oversight”.
