Production of a new generation of engines and transmissions will create 150 jobs across two facilities of auto maker Honda.

The ‘Earth Dreams’ series of components will be introduced to the market as part of the new 2013 Honda Accord.

The company’s investment in the new project totals $220m (£140m) in the new project.

Honda employs over 13,500 people in Ohio, and is in its 30th year of operations in the state.
