Salaries for permanent and temporary general staff roles in the UK last month showed marginal improvement on May 2011 at 0.16% and 0.05%, reveals recruiter Office Angels’ Salary Watch, compiled using mysalarychecker.com.

Salaries for permanent and temporary general staff roles in the UK last month showed marginal improvement on May 2011 at 0.16% and 0.05%, reveals recruiter Office Angels’ Salary Watch, compiled using mysalarychecker.com.
It shows that the average permanent salary in May for such roles was 0.11% lower than the previous month.Permanent PA roles remain the most buoyant, with average salaries up 4.81% on the year, followed by office managers, rising by 3.94%.
Steven Kirkpatrick, managing director at Office Angels, says: “Both jobseekers and people already in work should be heartened by this news and remain optimistic about their employment future.”
