Consultancy and management are the areas that people thinking of moving to Brazil most want to work in, finds research from Dutch recruitment and labour market communications firm Intelligence Group (IG).

This is closely followed by production, manufacturing, and maintenance & repair, according to IG’s research.Of those who indicated they wanted to work in Brazil, 29% saw consultancy and management as a potential industry to work in, followed by production, manufacturing, maintenance & repair (27%), IT & internet (24%), industry (23%) and communications/media (22%).

IG also finds that of those interested in going to Brazil, nearly 50% work in one of five industries: engineering & technology (14%), sales banking (12%), financial services & insurance and general management (both 8%) and IT, ICT or automation (7%).

The profile of jobseekers interested in working in Brazil was overwhelmingly male (73%), educated to bachelor degree level or in the process of getting one (82%), and relatively experienced, with 41% having over 10 years of professional experience.

It also found that 43% intended to stay in Brazil for five or more years.
