International recruiter CDI Corp saw revenue of $280.6m (£173.7m) in Q1 2012, up 9.3% on the previous year, with all three segments of the business individually seeing rises.

International recruiter CDI Corp saw revenue of $280.6m (£173.7m) in Q1 2012, up 9.3% on the previous year, with all three segments of the business individually seeing rises.

Operating profit also jumped from $2.8m previously, to $7.4m.The company anticipates revenue compared to the previous year to increase in the range of 5% to 7% for Q2.

CDI president and chief executive Paulett Eberhart says: "The company's strong first quarter performance reflects sales growth in all three business segments, and savings from the restructuring we announced last December contributed to significant operating margin expansion.

“Going forward, we are focused on the successful execution of our strategic plan, designed to accelerate growth in targeted markets with a more efficient operating platform."
