INTERNATIONAL US: Mediatum opens first US office in Boston

European-based executive search firm Mediatum, specialising in life sciences, has opened its first US office in Boston, Massachusetts.

European-based executive search firm Mediatum, specialising in life sciences, has opened its first US office in Boston, Massachusetts.

Managing director Mike Steyer, a life sciences and business management expert, will head up the office and is joined by experienced recruiter Elnaz Camuffo-Mashhadi.

According to Mediatum, many of its clients have US subsidiaries and the firm works with several companies who are among the top 10 pharmaceuticals.

Mediatum was founded by Christoph Boehringer and Dirk Wilken in Heidelberg, Germany in 2001 and now operates branch offices in such international cities as Basel, Vienna, London and now Boston in the US.

Boehringer is part owner of German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim.
