Nine out of 10 IT workers want to know what they will earn before applying for a new jobs, but only a quarter of posted job profiles display salary.
This is according to research including a survey of nearly 800 IT professionals carried out by Dutch IT recruiter RAVE-cruitment.It also identifies ‘communicative’ as an increasingly common word in job postings – it is written in 31% of the adverts posted.
RAVE-cruitment’s founder Rob van Elburg says: “Our research shows that the salary indication has to be specified. IT people like simplicity and clarity a lot! Their work is difficult enough already.”
