APSCo executives serving on the committee are Matthew Brown, financial director and Marilyn Davidson.
Ann Swain, APSCo chief executive, says: “As always, the elections were fiercely contested – this is testament both to the incredible rate of growth of our membership and also the appetite among those members to be involved in driving forward our agenda as the leading professional recruitment industry trade body.
The fact we have such a broad range of professional sectors represented shows just how far we have come. I’m delighted with our new committee and would also like to give a huge vote of thanks to those members whose terms have come to an end. They have given their time selflessly and have our sincere gratitude.”
At the same meeting last night, APSCo launched Talent Hub, an online resource of information, training, and assessment.
The hub includes a link to APSCo’s new Recruitment Practice Standard (RPS) qualification, developed in partnership between APSCo and training and coaching consultancy Innergy.
James Osborne, director of Innergy, tells Recruiter he anticipates that around 100 staffing companies will sign up to RPS this year.
A US version of RPS is due to be launched in November.
