Tue, 24 Jan 2012Global growth ambitions for the team behind Jobsite were fuelled today with the announcement of a new digital recruitment group.
The new group, Evenbase, holds a portfolio of market-leading digital recruitment assets including Oilcareers, Jobsite and 10 other niche, generalist and vertical sector job boards, the leading multi-poster and unified search provider Broadbean and technology partnerships include NHS Jobs, Northcliffe Media and Johnston Press.
Under Evenbase, a wider restructure of wider group operations has created a central executive team and four business units, each with its own managing director. The four business units are job boards, business solutions, new ventures and recruitment software. In an exclusive interview with Recruiter, Evenbase chief executive Keith Potts said the move was “a major step we’ve been planning for up to two years now”.
In 2010, the march toward the reorganisation began with a look at reinvisioning the group’s strategy. Reconsideration of the organisation design itself took place last year. “We really had to change,” Potts told Recruiter. “It wasn’t chaos…but it was suboptimal.”
The new organisational structure finds Potts moving from group managing director to CEO. Others on the executive team are:
Damian McCallion, chief operating officer
Felix Wetzel, strategy development officer
Graham Potts, group IT director
Mike Wall, MD, job boards
Heather Wozniak, MD, business solutions
Ray Duggins, MD, new ventures
Kelly Robinson, CEO, Broadbean
Dan Martin, MD, Broadbean
The “recruitment software” unit refers to Broadbean. “All of our recruitment software is based on the wide set of products Broadbean has,” he clarified.
Potts went on to tell Recruiter, “We are very focused on strategy now. We will be less opportunistic and our vision is to create products and services in digital talent acquisiion for recruiters.”
