Sunil Wickremeratne has stepped down as chief operating officer at international recruiter SThree.

Wickremeratne will remain in his current post until the end of November to ensure a handover of his responsibilities, which will be divided between existing group executives, before leaving the board at the end of the current financial year.

Russell Clements, SThree chief executive, says: “Sunil has been with the group for more than 22 years. Over this time he has played a crucial role in the development of SThree. While we will miss his input around the board table, we fully understand his desire to retire while he is still young enough to enjoy life to the full.”
